Before you bring a Corgi home

What these guides
cover.

A Pembroke Welsh Corgi is a herding dog in a small body. Adults usually weigh up to about thirty pounds and stand ten to twelve inches at the shoulder, with a dense double coat, a strong appetite and a great deal of energy for their size. They are clever, quick to learn and happiest with a job to do, which is why training and routine matter from the first week.

Corgi Puppy Training covers house training, crate routines, early socialization and the herding instinct that makes some puppies nip at heels. Welsh Corgi Grooming explains the double coat, the heavy seasonal sheds, and the brushing and nail routine that keeps shedding manageable. How to Take Care of a Corgi is the everyday picture: feeding, exercise, weight, and protecting a long back and short legs.
