Our puppies are raised in Casa Grande, Arizona, and reach Oregon by air in about two and a half hours. Every puppy is $850, with travel quoted separately once one is reserved.
The honest answer
Why Oregon is a flight,
not a drive.
Roughly twenty hours by road. The nonstop into Portland is about two and a half, and Portland is a straightforward airport to collect from, which is not true of everywhere.
Portland serves the whole Willamette Valley comfortably. Eugene works for the south of the valley when the schedule cooperates, and for Medford and the far south it is worth comparing a Portland landing against the drive up from California.

Into Eugene for the south valley
Thinner service and worth booking further ahead, but it removes two hours of driving for anyone around Eugene or Corvallis.
Ground transport
Two to three days by road with updates along the way. A long route, so usually the second choice here unless a flight genuinely does not suit.

What catches
Oregon families out?
Bend, mostly. Central Oregon families quite reasonably look for a flight to Redmond and end up with a connection, when a Portland landing and a drive over the Cascades is usually the better day. In winter we aim to land early so the pass is crossed in daylight, and if the forecast is poor we would rather move the date than have you on Highway 26 after dark.
The second is that Oregon is two climates. A February arrival in Portland is mild and wet; the same afternoon in Bend can be well below freezing with snow on the ground. We plan for whichever one you actually live in.
And if you are near the California line, say so. Sometimes the shortest day for a Medford family is a flight into Sacramento or Redding and a drive north, and we would rather tell you that than sell you a Portland ticket.
Settling in
What are the first
few days like?
A puppy from the Arizona desert will find an Oregon winter damp rather than cold, and the thing they object to is rain on the grass at six in the morning. Somewhere sheltered to go out makes house training dramatically faster.
Keep the food unchanged for a week or two, and give them a small space at first rather than the run of the house. If you have driven over the pass to get home, expect them to sleep through the entire evening.
