Probably not as near as you would like, and that is worth saying plainly. Good Pembroke Welsh Corgi breeders are thin on the ground in most states, which is exactly why the search you just did returned so little. A lot of what does come back close to home is a broker, a reseller or a listing site rather than the person who raised the puppy.

We are one household in Casa Grande, Arizona, about an hour south of Phoenix Sky Harbor. Every puppy is born in the house and raised in it. The trade-off is honest: you are unlikely to be down the road from us, but you will be dealing with the person who has handled your puppy since the day they were born.

For most of the country the journey is a single nonstop flight with someone carrying your puppy in the cabin, which is a shorter and calmer day than driving three hours to a breeder two states over. If you are in Arizona or Southern California, you can simply come and collect.

Whether you end up with us or with someone an hour from your house, the questions are the same. Can you see the mother? Will they tell you what the parents have been screened for and show you the paperwork? Do they ask you as many questions as you ask them? Will they take the dog back at any point in its life?

A breeder who will not answer those is not a bargain at any distance. One who will is worth a flight.

Every Copper Crest puppy is raised in Casa Grande, Arizona, about an hour south of Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX). Arizona families and many in Southern California pick up in person. For most other states the realistic options are a flight nanny, who carries the puppy in the cabin and hands it to you at your airport, or a ground transport discussion for routes where that suits the puppy and the season.
