Corgi puppy price
How much is
a Corgi puppy?
A Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppy from Copper Crest Pembrokes is $850. This page sets out what that covers, how the deposit works and what it costs to get your puppy home.
What you pay for
What does the
$850 include?
Every puppy is raised in our home in Casa Grande, Arizona, alongside our children, dogs and cats. The price covers the care a puppy needs before it leaves, and what travels home with it.
The early work is part of it too. Our puppies have Early Neurological Stimulation and Puppy Culture enrichment, regular handling and crate training, and a Volhard temperament test at about seven and a half weeks, so we can match each one to the right home. The details are on our health and care page.

Reserving a puppy
How does the
deposit work?
A $300 holding deposit reserves an available puppy while you get ready for pickup or delivery. It comes off the $850, so the balance is $550, and it is transferable.
If you cannot meet your pickup obligation and you let us know, $200 of the deposit is refunded. Puppies are placed on a first come basis. We do not keep a waitlist or publish upcoming litters, so the available puppies page shows exactly who is looking for a home today.
We accept Apple Pay and Zelle. The steps from first message to pickup day are on our puppy process page.
Getting your puppy home
What does it cost
to get home?
Travel is never bundled into the puppy price. We plan it with you after a puppy is reserved, and the buyer pays the delivery fee.
| How your puppy travels | Cost |
|---|---|
| Pickup at our home in Casa Grande | No delivery fee |
| Arizona airport pickup at Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX) | $100 |
| Flight nanny, who carries your puppy in the cabin to your airport | Quoted for your route |
| Ground transport with a USDA certified provider | Quoted for your route |
Shopping around
Why do Corgi prices
vary so much?
Ask ten sellers and you will hear ten prices. The differences usually come down to what the parents were screened for, what goes home with the puppy, whether there is a written health guarantee, and who you are actually buying from.
Our breeding dogs are screened for Degenerative Myelopathy, hip health, CAER eyes, Progressive Retinal Atrophy and Von Willebrand Disease Type I, and we are happy to talk through the testing for any puppy you are considering.
Be wary of a price that looks too good. Ads that ask for a "shipping fee" before you have seen the puppy, sellers who will not video call, and listings that reuse the same photos are the usual signs of a scam. A good breeder asks you questions too.
After pickup day
What does a Corgi cost
to keep?
The puppy price is a one-time cost. These are rough yearly ranges in the US for a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, which weighs up to about 30 pounds as an adult. Prices vary a lot by area, so treat them as a starting point.
| Yearly cost | Rough US range |
|---|---|
| Food and treats | $400 to $900 |
| Routine vet care: exams and vaccines | $250 to $700 |
| Flea, tick and heartworm prevention | $250 to $550 |
| Pet insurance, if you choose it | $350 to $900 |
| Grooming tools, toys and replacements | $100 to $300 |
Corgis shed heavily and gain weight easily, so a good undercoat rake and measured meals pay for themselves. Our grooming guide and care guide explain why.
Price questions
Questions about
the price.
How much is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppy from Copper Crest?
Each puppy is $850. That covers the veterinary exam, age appropriate vaccines, deworming, health records, food for the move home, a written contract with a one year health guarantee and lifetime support. Travel, if you need it, is quoted separately.
How much is the deposit, and is it refundable?
A $300 holding deposit reserves an available puppy and comes off the $850. It is transferable. If you cannot meet your pickup obligation and you tell us, $200 of it is refunded.
Does the price include delivery?
No. Pickup in Casa Grande has no delivery fee, and Arizona airport pickup at Phoenix Sky Harbor is $100. A flight nanny or ground transport is quoted for your route once a puppy is reserved, and the buyer pays the delivery fee.
Why are some Corgi puppies online so much cheaper?
A very low price on a listing site is often a broker, a reseller or a scam. Before you pay anyone, ask to see the puppy and its mother on a live video call, ask what the parents were screened for, and never pay for "shipping" a puppy you cannot verify.
